A recurring part of our work as legal and compliance professionals is translating complex, often abstract requirements into practical guidance. We also need to adapt our explanations to the people using them. Marketing needs to understand what it can say in a campaign. IT needs to know what a system must do. The underlying requirement may be the same, but each team needs a different explanation.
Visuals give us a shared reference point. A diagram helps people follow how information moves through a system or see where a requirement changes a process. Colleagues with different backgrounds can look at the same picture, ask questions, and identify what needs to happen.
The example brings the same review into three views: Visual shows the system, Business explains the decisions, and Counsel preserves the reasoning and qualifications.
